Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am very team-oriented. I am aggressive defensively and offensively. I am mindful of the best opportunities to shoot or pass. As a point guard, I survey the court well for execution of plays and opportunities to assist. I was 1st in assists and steals on my high school basketball team the past 2 years. I feel I am a great all around player.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I try to maintain a positive and encouraging mentality for myself and teammates, as a guard and a leader. It's important that I play with respect and provide good manners to officials, coaches and my teammates at all times. I provide an offensive and defensive mindset, both are important to success.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Outside of sports, I am involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, and Math League. I received a letter in Math League for the 2023-24 school year. I received first place at the 2025 MO National History Day Competition in the Senior Individual Exhibit category. I have also received awards for multiple art pieces shown at the MO Ozark 7 Conference Art Show.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
It's important to me that I lead by example. I have been the starting point guard for my high school team for the last 2 years. I feel this has provided many opportunities for me to learn to lead my team. I have learned to rely on my teammates which instills trust and confidence in them and me. Confidence and respect is important for a good team mentality.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I have experienced players only concerned with their personal advancement and also encountered coaches that want you to play more for the advancement of those players. These obstacles can make team unity difficult but I have learned to overcome them and keep moving forward. I can't control what others do but I can control what I do. I can encourage others and continue to lead by example.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that fits me and my academic aspirations. Academics are important to me and I take pride in my grades, GPA, and ACT score so I am looking for a school that can offer me a good education and help me continue playing basketball.
