A versatile forward for Team Five that made a lot of impressive moves on the offensive side of the ball. Some of her moves included a spin move, step through and cross over all while attacking in the paint aggressively. She also showed she could step out and hit a three-point shot. She was tough and physically while rebounding the ball as well.

Prior to last season, the last time the Falcons of Seventy-First claimed 23 wins throughout a season was the 2012-13 season when the team went 28-1 as a 4A team. The Falcons were reclassified into the 6A ranks starting last season and Gully ensured Seventy-First’s transition would be a smooth one. Seventy-First finished 23-3 and Gully competed in all 26 contests last season. She averaged 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 1.2 assists per game throughout 2025-26. Gully recently earned offers from Randolph College and Brunswick College and spent her final season of grassroots ball running with Carolina Flames on the Nike EYBL circuit. 

Jewel Gully Jewel Gully 5'9" | SF/SG Seventy-First | 2027 State NC is someone who definitely dribbles with intention each time she is on the court using her power to get to the basket, especially off of steals getting her points off of turnovers.  She doesn’t back down from contact attacking the rim, and she certainly does well pulling up quickly hitting her midrange jump shot.  Her power is seen inside grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court.

An aggressive player that does not mind doing a lot of the dirty work to get her points. She cleans up the glass and her offensive putbacks lead to buckets. She runs the floor hard which also leads to transition baskets. She also uses her strength to get to the rim and gets to the free throw line often.

Jewel Gully Jewel Gully 5'9" | SF/SG Seventy-First | 2027 State NC was aggressive with the ball hitting her midrange jumper and going to work on the block using her body to seal off opponents.  She was following shots grabbing rebounds and using offensive boards for her own gain.  She continued to dominate on all levels throughout the game making tough baskets through contact.

Jewel Gully Jewel Gully 5'9" | SF/SG Seventy-First | 2027 State NC had some tough takes in the paint scoring even off one foot as she was getting some space away from her defender.  She had some strong box outs grabbing the rebounds on both ends knowing exactly where to go with the board to get a play going for her team.  She knew how to find ways to make contributions all over the court hitting her teammates with passes to score.

Jewel Gully Jewel Gully 5'9" | SF/SG Seventy-First | 2027 State NC has a knack for finding the ball on defense whether she is following shots grabbing the rebound, jumping in front of passes to grab the steal, or blocking shots from people trying to drive against her.  She does well getting into position by the basket whether she is getting ready for a putback from an offensive rebound or sneaking behind her defenders waiting for the pass to score some points.  She attacks the basket well not backing down from contact.
