Jim’Miyah did all she could for her SLAM team at Lakeland in their only game. She put up 24 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and had 5 steals. She’s one of the most exciting players to watch in the state, and Jim’Miyah lived up to that hype at the RP Funding Center. Excited to see what she can do at the next level – Let’s Go Peay!

is a point guard who does it all on the floor. Not only can she score with ease, but she also involves her teammates and is one of the top rebounding point guards. Branton plays with confidence when the ball is in her hands, demonstrating a high IQ in reading defenses and capitalizing on their weaknesses. Her ability to change the pace of her dribble and use hesitation moves forces the defense to play at her pace, allowing her to pick them apart and contribute points—whether by scoring herself or setting up her teammates. Last season, she led her team to the 4A State Final Four, averaging 14.1 PPG and 5.7 RPG. This season, with her team reclassified to 3A, she aims to capture the state championship.

(2025) put in a grand performance at the Sunshine Showdown. Branton was majestic with the ball in her hand at the Sunshine Showdown. On the offensive, she does a good job of blending the drives, passes, and kick-outs to her teammates. Branton can attack from anywhere on the floor. She has a mean baseline floater that she can get off anytime she wants to. She does a good job of shooting in the midrange area and an occasional three. In transition Branton is special. She gets to the rim in a hurry and doesn’t need much separation to finish the break. She did a good job of distributing the ball to her bigs on the block (one who may be the best in the State) and passing to two of the top shooters in the State. Branton is a High IQ player with athleticism to go with it – a deadly combination and it was on display throughout the tournament.
