has moved up and down the rankings list for her 2025 Class. No matter where she has been placed, it has never changed that Black is a force to be reckoned with. She might not kill you with any insane stat line or flashy move but she is consistent in the paint. She has been a Varsity player ever since she was a Freshman and I think that will stay consistent into the future as well. During last Winter, Black averaged some noteworthy numbers across the board but especially in BPG. She averaged over 4 BPG throughout her season and that is something she should be proud about moving into her Senior journey.

started off her high school career within the Top 50 as it pertains to her individual Class Ranking and that isn’t going to change moving into her Senior season at Elkhorn Valley. I never had a chance to step in and see Black compete live last Winter but from the looks of it, she did what she could and averaged some respectable numbers across the board for her squad. Black is a prospect that has height on most near the basket and that helps her compete with anyone on either side of the floor. Honestly, the past couple of years Black has been a constant in the field on producing for her team and she is going to do the same over the next eight months by my estimation.

was a Freshman, she has produced respectable numbers for her production at Elkhorn Valley and that hasn’t changed too much. Black will continue to be her team’s force on block at 6’2, getting her hands on anything and everything that is passed by her or to her. She checks in as one of the tallest players throughout the state, no matter Class or age and she uses that to her advantage whenever she can. Her team runs a zone on defense or has in the past so she has the responsibility to take up space in the middle and she thrives as that. I’m expected her to end her high school career as one of the leaders in the state for stats around the basket. With her mixture of height and opportunity, she could put together her best season yet to date this upcoming Winter.

compete as a Freshman, she impressed me with what she brought to the floor. In each contest, she was a constant for her team in more ways than one. Her game would be described as aggressive but intelligent. She understands her size and spacing a good majority of the time and she knows how to use those two things to her advantage. On any given night, Black can come out of nowhere and be the difference maker within their contest. Her ability to Rebound, Score, and Defend inside the paint is second to none for her size and she knows that. This past season Black was her team’s main source inside the lane. She did everything she could to help her team succeed each night and she always left it all on the floor. I’m curious what she is going to do for AAU season as I’m not sure if she plays but if she does, I’m sure she could bring some positives to whatever team she is lacing up with. She was a big part of her programs success this Winter and I don’t expect that to change moving into the 2024-2025 Season in the near future.

and her overall game but from what I’ve seen thus far, it’s very hard for people to stop Black from being dominate underneath the basket. Black stands right around 6’2 and is an enforcer in the middle. She rebounds at a high rate, moves well down the floor, and has a quick second jump for put-back’s on missed shot attempts. Defensively, she is someone that other teams need to worry about. She gets her hands on a lot of shots inside the paint because players seem to under-play her length. Black starts off these rankings at #4 but she can’t stay complacent. There are several other players right behind her gunning to move up come our December Update. Like all players near this ranking, she will need to continue her effective production if she wants to stay in Top 5 moving forward. Something that is more than doable for a player like Black but she still had to make it happen.
