Salinas was another “long and athletic” guard, yep, it’s still the base, and with her being a couple of inches shy of “the magic number” as well as being able to drop the jumper, she falls into that “big guard who can shoot” group as well. Her ball-handling, as well as court vision, was impressive, but she’s heady, understands how to control the tempo, and made the right decisions. Her defense was solid, and she scored off the dribble
