Roy is so smooth with the ball and the variety of moves that she uses effectively make her not only hard to hold but will have her a “nightmare to defend” down the road because she does things instinctively. I’m also enjoying her court vision not only in the set but in transition yet her HEZ keeps me dizzy see evaluation here as she’s already on the WATCHLIST

Roy can be mesmerizing with the ball because she does things not only fluidly, but instinctively. Her variety of moves, including the HEZ, can leave the defender helpless as she gets to the rim whenever she wants. Her body control on her finishes after contact is nice, and so is her upside see evaluations here

Roy continues to show me she has the potential to be a “nightmare to defend” and here’s why. She has multiple moves in the open court and showed the spin move, under control and going full speed, several times. Her first step is also a problem for defenders as she scores or dishes off the dribble yet her court vision across the board is nice. She creates and drops her jumper under pressure, she also has good court vision across the board and her “on the ball” defense is also solid

Roy gave me a good first look a week ago at the Elite 40 Individual Showcase yet she added even more and showed how well she saw the floor both in the set as well as in the open court. She’s a long and athletic guard who did a good job defensively yet her ability to get by the defender from multiple angles and score was on full display, as well as her jumper

Roy had me thinking “Oh boy” as she left a lasting first impression with her spin move in traffic to finish. She also gave me the slight HEZ to attack and finish, at times after contact but she understands how to get the defender off balance. Her step back was nice, and so was her “catch and shoot” as she dropped the mid to NBA range jumper. She saw the floor, played solid defense, and the passing lane
