About Jordyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm am a SG with length that defends and rebounds well too. I thrive in a fast paced offense but can play in a half court setting as well. My strengths are my shooting range as well as being able to get to the basket in one or two moves. I'm not a ball stopper and move well off the ball. I can score but am always looking to make the right basketball play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am an even tempered player and person. I don't get too excited and I don't get too down. At first I'm a pretty quiet person but once I get comfortable my personality comes out

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I help coach youth basketball at the YMCA and am on the National Honor Society and High Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been playing Varsity Basketball and Softball since 8th grade. I've had to work hard and learn what it means to be led by older players and eventually using the things I learned from them to become a leader on and off the court!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I dislocated my knee three minutes into the Sectional Finals my Sophomore year. Even thought I couldn't come back and play I was our bench's biggest hype person! I worked really hard to come back and played AAU and was back to my normal self within no time!

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a College that feels like a community and a family.
