About Jordyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile small forward who can create my own shot, handle the ball under pressure, and make plays for my teammates. I can score at all three levels, and I take pride in rebounding and going back up strong to finish. I play with a team-first mindset and focus on making winning plays

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a team-first, competitive mindset. I’m very coachable, I take feedback seriously, and I’m always looking to improve. I stay composed under pressure and focus on doing whatever it takes to help my team win

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m taking AP classes including dual credit,

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through basketball and my daily commitment to improvement. As a small forward, I focus on contributing in every area scoring, rebounding, assisting, and defending and I work hard to lift my teammates’ energy during practice and games. I hold myself to a high standard, always analyzing my mistakes and putting in extra work to make sure they don’t

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is balancing all parts of my game as a small forward. Whenever I struggle with something whether it’s shooting, defense, or reboundingI focus on fixing it right away. That mindset has helped me stay confident, keep my teammates motivated, and turn obstacles into opportunities to improve.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can continue to grow as a player and a person. I want a program that values hard work, teamwork, and development on and off the court. Academics are important to me too, so I’m looking for a school where I can challenge myself in the classroom while contributing to a competitive team environment
