Her quick release and unmatched confidence are key in her lethal shooting, which also means it can open up driving lanes for herself if the defense overplays. Her shooting can also free up her teammates to cut to the basket, and Brown has the vision to find them.

Joshlynn Brown Joshlynn Brown 5'5" | PG/SG County Line | 2027 State AR might be the most accomplished high school player on this team, and certainly the highest ranked, and for good reason.

Brown is coming off a season where she earned all-state and all-state tournament selections. She had plenty of strong scoring performances throughout the year, along with numerous games where she put on a passing clinic, shut down opposing guards, and crashed the glass with ferocity.

Brown is electric whenever she has the ball in her hands and has an open court in front of her. The rising senior pushes the ball hard in transition, able to get to the basket and finish through contact, maintaining control the entire possession. She can shoot from outside, but her teammates feast from outside whenever she hits them with a pass.

Again, this squad is checking all of the boxes because now they have their do-it-all point guard in Joshlynn Brown Joshlynn Brown 5'5" | PG/SG County Line | 2027 State AR . This team is looking awfully dangerous.

Joshlynn Brown Joshlynn Brown 5'5" | PG/SG County Line | 2027 State AR is coming into the 1A playoffs with some positive momentum behind her. Lafayette County will have to gameplan heavily to account for this sophomore.

In a recent game against Hackett, Brown had 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Not long before that, the sophomore went for 23 points and 7 steals against Oark.

Brown is an excellent two-way player. She can hit the outside shot efficiently while stripping ball-handlers consistently. If Brown has an opportunity to run out in transition, she will not hesitate to take it coast-to-coast.

Joshlynn “Joshi” Brown has had some great games this season, and she has emerged as one of the best players in the 1A-4 conference. Brown has been able to score effectively this season, but I am more impressed with her defensive ability.

Brown has had a multitude of games where she has recorded at least one steal. She had 7 steals versus Danville in November, and most recently, she had 3 steals against Mulberry. It seems that whenever Brown records multiple steals, County Line wins, which shows her value to this team. Brown is also an opportunist shot-blocker.

On offense, Brown is a confident outside shooter. She can come off a screen and be ready to catch and shoot. Her release is quick and she has excellent shot elevation. She is also able to score in transition, as well as facilitating the offense for her teammates.
