Hutcheson, a 5’8 CG, shot a 65 eFG% last Winter on over 225+ attempts. This ranked within the Top 10 in the State at #8. When you see these types of numbers from a guard, you know that they can play and produce when they need too. It’s not a matter how, it’s a matter of when. If they want to score, they are going too. That’s how Hutcheson competes and how she will continue to compete until graduation in 24 months.

Hutcheson is coming off of a Sophomore season in which she averaged 16 PPG, 6 RPG, and 6 APG. The most impressive number being the APG mark of 6, while only turning the ball over around 1.1 times per contest. Hutcheson is just fast, smarter, and more motivated than those on the high school floor. You can tell that her athletic ability is one of the best in her conference off of the dribble and that’s only going to get better with experience. I expect Hutcheson to put together another fantastic season next Winter and moving into her Senior year. She should put up some crazy numbers in the process but we will have to wait and see what those look like.

Hutcheson, is a mixture of a CG and a SF with the type of way that she competes on the hardwood. She is pretty skilled in multiple aspects of the game and that shows whenever she competes for her Mediapolis team. She isn’t the only one putting up good numbers for her squad but her’s do seem to be a little more impressive than most. Throughout her team’s first 15 games, they sit at 14-1, while Hutcheson has 98 assists and 90 steals, giving her a top spot in the state in each of those categories from an overall perspective thus far. Production is something you can’t deny and there is a lot of production happening here.
