Hodges sold me early with her BB-IQ and ability to run a team as well as control the tempo. The game has and always will start at the 1 and seeing her “on the court” progression over the years has shown how much she has improved yet one of the biggest pluses she’s added is “making those around her better” see evaluations here

#49 up from #53, Hodges has me thinking about one of the first articles I wrote about her, “Guards Who Blew Me Away” and she’s still doing that, as well as going by defenders in the blink of an eye. Her intensity on both ends and her “never takes a play off” mindset is special see evaluations here

#53 up from #70 Hodges jumped 17 spots upward, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she jumps even higher over he next few months. She’s an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends, so her “on the ball” pressure as well as her finishing strongly after contact are part of the reasons she’s moving up, yet her jumper is another see evaluations here

#70 (Up from #76)
Hodges showed me “on the court” progression at the Sandra Meadows Classic, one of my must-stops in my December Holiday Tournament journey see evaluation here but her intensity on both ends of the floor during the playoffs was different and I’m seeing her continue to rise in the rankings. I also loved seeing her want the ball under pressure and deliver see evaluation here

Hodges continues to elevate her game and her clutch free throws down the stretch spoke volumes but how about this, she’s a “long and athletic” guard which is also the base and she attacked to score or dish while being defended plus she dropped the jumper from outside “catch and shoot” included

Hodges is a “long and athletic” guard, which is also the base so watching her accelerate in the open court was nice, yet she also did a good job attacking off the dribble in the set. Her “on the ball” pressure was solid, she did a good job creating her shot while being pressured and dropped it

Hodges was a pleasant surprise when I caught her at the PBR Super 64 and two things I mentioned about my WHY for adding her were “she’s a long and athletic” guard, that too is the base and she “kept it going” and I love energy see evaluation here and I’ll catch her next week at the Sandra Meadows Classic
