Graves enjoyed a breakout season last year for the Lady Tigers, showcasing the athleticism, quickness and ability to attack defenses that make her such an exciting young guard. She has the tools to create opportunities off the dribble, put pressure on opposing defenses and continue developing into an even more complete playmaker. We expect an even bigger sophomore campaign as she gains experience and confidence. Having one of the state’s best shooters and scorers, Ella Buckman Ella Buckman 5'9" | CG/SG Bardstown | 2028 State KY , alongside her in the backcourt only makes Graves more dangerous and assists easier. The combination gives Campbellsville multiple ways to attack defenses and puts Graves in position to take another significant step forward.

Journey was the second-leading scorer for Bardstown last season, averaging 12.2 points per game while shooting 31.1% from three-point range and 82.5% from the free-throw line. What stands out most about Journey is her ability to produce whether she has the ball in her hands or is playing off of it. She can shoot it well from distance and also a strong finisher at the basket with either hand. Journey is also a very instinctive defender whose anticipation and feel for the game allow her to make plays on that end of the floor A two-way guard I am very high on in Kentucky’s 2029 class.

Journey is a quick, instinctive guard who reads the game extremely well! She finishes strong off the dribble, stretches the floor with her range, and is reliable at the free throw line!

She is averaging 12.2 points per game and shooting an impressive 82.4% from the charity stripe!

I really liked what I saw from Journey on Friday. She’s a guard who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. A strong on-ball defender with quick hands, she came up with steals and turned them into offense. She sees the floor well and has a nice float game, using it to finish in the paint over taller defenders. Journey also does a good job finishing off two feet inside and set the tone offensively in the third quarter.
