How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Lockdown defender with elite instincts and relentless effort on every possession. Disrupts passing lanes, pressures the ball, and consistently guards the opponent’s best scorer. On the offensive end, a lethal three-point shooter with deep range and quick release, capable of stretching defenses and knocking down shots in high-pressure moments. A true two-way asset who impacts winning on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Always locked in with a relentless focus and competitive edge, Journi approaches every rep, practice, and possession with purpose. Highly coachable and eager to learn, she absorbs feedback and immediately applies it, constantly refining her game. Known for outworking everyone on the court, she brings unmatched effort, discipline, and intensity setting the tone for teammates and raising the bar.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has given Journi more than just a game it’s helped her find her voice and grow into a natural leader. Through competition and teamwork, she’s gained confidence, learned to communicate, and stepped into moments that demand accountability and poise. What started on the court now shows in everything she does leading by example, lifting others up, and carrying herself with purpose.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After being cut from her first travel team, Journi used that moment as fuel instead of frustration. She committed to getting better every day putting in extra work, sharpening her skills, and building her confidence. That setback became the turning point in her journey. She didn’t just earn her way back she became a starter who sets the tone from the opening tip, bringing energy and toughness.

What type of college are you looking for?

Journi aspires to compete at an elite collegiate program known for its prestige, culture, and winning tradition. She is driven to be part of a program that demands excellence, develops high character athletes, and competes a the highest level. With her work ethic and mindset, she’s focused on earning the opportunity to contribute to a legacy of success while continuing to grow on and off court.
