continues to impress with her poise, decision-making, and maturity as a young guard. She excels at attacking the lane under control. Defensively, Smith plays with discipline and awareness, consistently making the correct reads and positioning herself well on the defensive event. He’s very good at playing in the passing lane and getting steals.. Her ability to impact both ends without forcing the action speaks to her feel for the game. As Wellington approaches, Smith’s combination of competitiveness, basketball IQ, and steady play should allow her to continue emerging as a reliable backcourt star.

is another young player coming into her own. After a strong summer, the game has begun to slow down for her, and she’s playing with more confidence and control. Smith can knock down the three on occasion, is comfortable in the mid-range, and can get to the rim. She runs the floor well in transition and continues to grow her overall game. While she still has room to develop, she’s positioned to make meaningful contributions in playoff situations.

made valuable contributions as a freshman, knocking down a deep three, handling the ball under pressure, and even controlling tempo when running the point. Defensively, she was alert and disruptive, capitalizing on loose handles, getting deflections and creating turnovers. Smith is a composed young guard with clear upside. She is making major strides and it’s only the third game of the season.

Juday Smith was in the starting lineup for her very first high school game and made some nice plays on night one. The young guard ran the point, played off the ball, and showed flashes of brilliant play. Her ability to score at all levels was evident, and her defense was also on point. Smith connected on a few drives to the basket and in the midrange in the painted area. Smith showed promise as early as the summer and has emerged as a main player in Creekside’s plans for this upcoming season.

went across State Line and came back with more than points and buckets- she came back with respect. Smith handled the ball, shot the three, scored on drives to the basket, and showed that she will be a problem in high school ball on the First Coast. Smith was very good handling the various situations and that spoke to the young player’s basketball IQ. Smith made a huge impression with her offense, but also fired shots on the defensive end. She brings athleticism, quickness, and physicality. She will be the player a coach puts on the team’s best player. With Smith’s talent, it won’t be asking too much of her. She is primed for a special Freshman season and guns will be “a-blazing”.

contributed in multiple areas and she is showing signs of a young leader with the ‘it” factor. Smith, who hasn’t even started her 9th grade year seemed unfazed playing against older “elite” opponents. She knocked down multiple three-point shots, a midrange jumper, and showed the confidence and consistency on the court. She flashed a few play making skills throwing a dime to one of her teammates cutting to the basket. Her presence adds valuable depth to the back court, giving her team a reliable secondary ball handler, and another shooter on the floor. Smith was one of the top shooters in the building and that assessment is not made on just the four or five threes she made, but also on her touch, form, and her confidence. Smith capped off her performance with a strong baseline drive that ended in a layup, showing that if you close out or play for the three the young guard can put it on the floor continuing to evolve into a key perimeter threat who can impact the game in a variety of ways.

had a nice team camp at UNF and showed a lot of good things on the basketball court. Smith did a good job in the offensive sets and showed an ability to get to the rim and deliver with the layup or floater in the paint. Smith brings athleticism and quickness to the back court and has the ability to defend against the big and athletic guards on the schedule. Smith opened eyes and was a breath of fresh air for the Lady Knights at Creekside.
