Benavidez gave me the double whammy “heady and vocal” and #THROWBACK stuff attracted me to the girl’s game over a score ago, that’s 20-plus years. Another was “following her shot” which I don’t see enough of but her skillset is solid, and so is her upside and when you see players who just won’t quit on either end … see evaluation here

Benavidez is “heady and vocal” on the court, let me drop #THROWBACK on that alone, well add “follows her shot” as well. She understands how to create her shot under pressure and drop it while being defended, her deceptive first step helped her score off the dribble yet her court vision was also a plus. She does a good job defensively and also did what I love seeing, play the passing lane
