Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Julia Nourredine (2026, 1829 Cobra) is a tough guard, as she clearly demonstrated at our Top 250 Expo last September. She refuses to miss out or fall behind and has a commitment to practicing whether she is at full strength or not. Julia is recovering from an ACL injury, but performed every drill and segment at practice she was permitted by the head coach. Julia’s stationary side and crossover jabs were quick and balanced, she was effective integrating those jabs into full-speed situations and finished off two feet naturally at the rim. She transferred the ball well going full speed and was able to combine the jab steps with spin dribbles.

2026, has a relentless hustle and effort every coach needs on their team. Julia made many of those plays Sunday at the Headliners that don’t leap off the stat sheet. She stole a pass in transition and kept her eyes up to find open teammates on offense. Julia set good screens for guards to help them get separation for open looks. She moved without the ball well and will be a solid player for Grosse Ile this winter.
