Ashbaugh made a living at the PGH Michigan Top 250, performing at a high level and moving up the rankings. Needless to say, I think Cornerstone got a great one. She’s a very consistent rebounder and scorer that plays the game with a high basketball IQ.

Ashbaugh was one of the more impressive players at the Top 250 last fall. She has continued her solid play since then. She’s an energy player that gets it done on both ends of the floor.

I got a chance to see Julie in the PGH 250 and could tell that she would have a great high school season. She is a talented big (a position that doesn’t see the ball a lot in expos) that is a consistent 20 point a game scorer. She is pulling down close to ten rebounds a game; plus, the junior alternates games between having five steals (for a big is solid) or five assists. Did I mention that the kid carries a 4.0 GPA?

Yeah, here’s Ashbaugh’s name again. She had one of the best overall days at the Top 250. I saw her physically snag a ball away from the offense and go coast to coast for an easy bucket.

It seems like Ashbaugh is in a lot of articles after the Top 250. Well, she deserves it with the energy that she brought on Saturday. Ashbaugh battled on both ends and was very fast up and down the court all day.

High energy defenders are so important to the success of a team. Ashbaugh brought a ton of energy and hustle to her defensive game. Her grit on that end turned into winning plays.
