About Justyce

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play fast and use my speed and endurance to my advantage. I also love to play tough defense as defense always drives me to play better offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always work hard. I won’t be outworked or out hustled by anyone. My dad always told me Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. That is something i’ve always lived by.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a very active member in or Church. Especially our kids ministry. Almost every Sunday I am in there serving the kids it is one of my favorite things to do.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve always been a natural leader on and off the court, being a Point Guard has taught me so much about the joys and pains of being a leader and has helped me build up myself to be able to take any pressure that comes with it.

What type of college are you looking for?

A place where I can go learn and get the degree I want but also somewhere where I can just continue to grow my love for basketball and work hard. I’d like to go somewhere and see some court time and just be able to be a better player.

The homeschooled prospect recently picked up an offer from Oklahoma Wesleyan. And along with the early season highlights above, recently had a triple double with points, rebounds and steals.

Walters is an off the dribble scoring threat, who can snake her way to the basket. When spotting up, the ball seems to explode out her hands with good velocity and rotation. The shooting, along with the defensive minded nature from her triple double highlights, should help her find a role at the next level sooner rather than later.
