Matthew Martinez | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
An elite shooter who has developed into a primary scorer on a championship team, Muniez boasts deep range, a smooth and consistent release, and ice in her veins under pressure.
She shattered Hobbs’ single-season three-point record with 76 makes. During the Eagles’ championship title run, Muniez averaged 16.0 points per game while shooting 55% from the field and 56% from three-point range (16/29 FG, 13/23 3P).
Her efforts earned her first All-State selection — 5A Second Team — the only junior at the 5A level to receive the honor.

The outlook concerning Muniez is that she will slide into a starting role for Coach Carpenter and the Eagles during the 2025-26 season. With four of the five starters from last season’s squad having graduated, there is a definite opportunity for her to see extensive playing time.
What bodes well for Muniez is the fact that she is a deadly three-point shooter with good range and solid footwork.

Muniez is a budding 5’8″ Shooting-Guard with a lot of upside, thanks to a smooth looking jumpshot and overall good positional height.
Due to the Eagles having four upperclassmen who were all next-level bound, it was difficult for Muniez to see extensive playing time during her first two seasons.
However, this forthcoming season (2025-26), Muniez is expected to be a prominent option for Coach Carpenter and company.
