Hatfield knows how to score the basketball. Indubitably. Her strong suit is her catch-and-shoot game. Her shot always looks good when it leaves her hand. If she misses a shot, it is front or back iron. She has been the best 3-point shooter on the Raiders during her stay on the team. She covers a lot for ground when she moves down the court. Isn’t afraid to face a 2-on-3 fast break and get to the rim. On defense, she would help a group that runs a 2-3 zone scheme due to her length and ability to move on the court. Her basketball IQ is solid. She will play at the 3-spot this year for the Raiders. If she would like to play in college, I would like to see her work on her ball-handling and keeping her dribble lower to the ground. She will also need to get used to moving without the basketball. Taking advantage of cuts and screens at the next level. She is a solid NAIA or low NCAA Division II player.
