A lockdown defender, Kai brings toughness and intensity and is willing to take on any matchup. She plays with confidence, competes, and does not back down from challenges. Her defensive effort, physicality, and willingness to bring energy to the floor make her a major reason Orange Park is successful and competitive. Her impact goes well beyond the box score.

Kai Longmire Kai Longmire 5'9" | SG/SF Orange Park | 2028 State FL is an athletic player who does the little things on the court to help her team win. Her impact is primarily felt on the defensive end of he court. Longmire does a good job of applying pressure on the perimeter and also mixing it up on the inside against bigger players. Longmire posts stats in a lot of categories, including rebounds and blocked shots, but her impact is in her hustle and versatility on the floor. She is a player who embraces her role as the team’s workhorse player. Her efforts didn’t go unnoticed- she was a standout at the Orange Park Christmas Classic who did whatever it took to win.

Kai Longmire Kai Longmire 5'9" | SG/SF Orange Park | 2028 State FL delivered a steady defensive effort and also impacted the game ion transition and press break. Defensively, she provided consistent pressure, moved well laterally, and made it difficult for opponents to get comfortable. Offensively, she chipped in a few scores and even connected on a floater in the transition game. Longmire’s ability to stay poised under pressure and defend with purpose made her a standout in week three. She is a young player who received some recognition last season, but this season she is bringing a different energy- new energy.

Kai Longmire Kai Longmire 5'9" | SG/SF Orange Park | 2028 State FL was a defensive stopper at times last season and performed a lot of her work in the background.   Longmire is athletic and made her presence felt on the defensive end last season. She is athletic, fast, and very competitive .  We are looking to see Longmire lock down opponents with her aggressive defensive play and continue to develop on the offensive side of the ball.
