About Kailyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Physical in the paint. Post up well, Rebounds well. Good hands and run the floor extremely well. Finish at the rim and sees the floor well during double teams.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Leader. Passionate, teammates first attitude. Supportive. Always happy but once I step onto the floor it becomes business.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

N/A currently. Waiting to be sworn in to Honors society for maintaining a 4.0 GPA through my sophomore year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My Previous high school basketball coach my freshman year (My father) would organize trash pickup days for the basketball team. We would walk the roads picking up trash and bagging to clean up our environment and local town. My current high school coach after every game, we come out and clean the bleachers after the game, once the game ends, we start pick up before we enter the locker room.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

None at this current time. Financially I have 2 other siblings, so I understand the stress and burden of my parents. Working hard to earn a scholarship in basketball as my passion is my number one focus. Not only a goal of mine but a huge financial burden my parents won't have to deal with if I have the opportunity to earn one.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to be a dentist. However, nothing is off the table.

Good size and athleticism, she can also get all the way to the rim and knock down shots. She handles the ball well a good inside out force that can shoot in traffic. A crafty scorer who can score in the interior and play multiple positions. A very intriguing prospect that is also a good passer!
