I don’t think any player in the state is off to a better start than Berea committ Kaitlyn Huggins Kaitlyn Huggins 6'0" | PF Central Hardin | 2026 State KY . She has been an absolute double-double machine through the first three games of the season, opening with 20 points and 20 rebounds against Nelson County, erupting for 25 points and 29 rebounds against Bullitt East, and following it up with 23 points and 22 rebounds versus McLean County. Despite Huggins’ monster production, the Lady Bruins sit at 1–4 and will look to regroup at home on Wednesday in a matchup against Thomas Nelson.

Kaitlyn displayed excellent footwork on the low block and has a variety of post moves that she used to score inside. She is very skilled and can finish with either hand at the rim. I liked the way she used her length to alter and block shots on defense as well.
