Maddock is another player in this list who is used to experiencing success. She led her squad to a state title in 2025 and to a third-place finish in 2026. She is hoping to lead the Wildcats back to the state tournament in 2027. Her leadership qualities are easy to spot, even on film. She is a steady ball-handler who does not get rattled by opposing team’s pressure defenses. She doesn’t let good defense impact her ability to take care of the ball and make good decisions. She is a very good point guard who can score and pass. I think she would be great at any of the region’s junior colleges or NAIA schools.

Maddock is a standout guard for Benson County who has already racked up an impressive awards case. She is a State Champion from 2025, multi-year All-District and All-Region, and was selected to the 2026 All-State team. She is a gritty guard who plays with great tempo. Her on-ball defense is really impressive. She fights over ball-screens and keeps the ball out of the lane. Her ability to use ball-screens on the offensive side of the floor is equally impressive. She changes pace, gets close to the screener, and makes the right read on her way to the basket.

Maddock is the quarterback of the Benson County Wildcats. She has helped lead them to two incredibly successful seasons. They fell just short of repeating as State Champions but still finished the season with a 24-3 record, a third place finish, and a 15-game win streak to start the year. Kaitlyn is a terrific ball-handler and very hard to turnover. This is a testament to her strength as a guard and her obvious work in the weight room. She is a good scorer and passer, good decision maker, and tough defensively. She would thrive at the NAIA or Junior College level.

The steady point guard helped lead Benson County to the Class B title in 2025. She is a smaller guard but plays with toughness and grit. She is very physically strong and uses her strong base to compete against bigger girls defensively. I really like Maddock’s decision making with the ball. She is always a threat to score but is also an excellent passer.

I really like how Kaitlyn plays the point guard position. She is incredibly steady with the ball and the decisions she makes. She does a great job of centering the ball to the middle of the court in transition and deciding when to pass and when to shoot. She has a really nice looking shot with a soft touch. She has good quickness and change of pace that allows her to get deep in the lane and shoot nice floaters over bigger secondary defenders.

Kaitlyn is a big reason that Benson County is one of the top teams in Class B. She is a great floor general for her team. I really like her decision making and how she moves out on the floor. She is a terrific shooter and passer. She plays really hard and is also a good on-ball defender. She possesses a quickness and change in speed that make up for her size. I think she is a good small college prospect.
