Kaitlyn is an incoming freshman who has the potential to be a very good high school player and college prospect. She’s long, athletic, and mobile. Kaitlyn can face-up and drive hard downhill for layups, or post up defenders to score with her back to the basket. Her length disrupts shots on the defensive end and closes passing lanes. She was active on the boards and is definitely a prospect we’d like to see at the Freshman Showcase.

Kaitlyn was a force in the paint for Hopson 15U at the PGH College Tour IV: Saginaw Valley, making her presence felt on both ends of the floor. The post player consistently protected the rim, recording numerous blocks by using her timing and length to alter shots throughout the day. She also controlled the glass, battling for rebounds and creating extra possessions for her team. Offensively, Kaitlyn did an excellent job establishing position by sealing defenders deep in the paint, allowing her to finish efficiently with either hand around the basket. One sequence that highlighted her persistence came when she secured an offensive rebound, drew contact on the put-back attempt, and calmly converted both free throws. Her physical play, rebounding, and rim protection made her one of the top interior performers at the event.
