How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play very aggressively and extremely quick to the point to where I don't make the best decisions on the court. I have gotten alot better through out the high-school season, my IQ has grown so really just need to work more on body control and staying off the floor so much.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
To briefly describe my gameplay style, I play very humbly. Nobody starts off being on top, it takes work and dedicated which I put alot of into my game. I just want to be great one day so I'm not the bragging type. I stay controlled on the court, and make sure I'm always focused on the game and helping my team to victory. I'm very tight with my feelings and don't let them show on the court.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I'm in HOSA at my school, and do alot of work for my dentistry class that I take at my school. I've preached at my church multiple times and have done lots of volunteer work like giving to the homeless and raising money for shelters.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I definitely developed multiple skills and qualities as I have continued to play ball with many different girls around my age. Skills such as communication, problem solving, and actively understanding and listening when spoken to. I would have to say communication is my main skill though, especially on the court.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have faced many, during my basketball career i have had a sprained ankle, 3 concussions, and seizures as well. I hustle and push hard but tend to put my love for the game ahead of my health so I'm not always careful. I've also faced mental battles in the past, being admitted to a psych ward wasn't easy but I've made it past that point in my life and couldn't be happier.
What type of college are you looking for?
I want a college that wants me and a place where I can stand out and make a difference. I really want to play for PVAMU due to family connections, but would be more than happy to play for any school God sends me to and that'll feel like home.
