Whether it is during the regular season or during camp month, the mantra of coach Military Magnet coach Nathaniel Taylor competing against tough teams from higher classifications remains a constant for the Eagles. Brown-King provided the go-ahead game-winning bucket for Military Magnet in a 32-30 victory over 3A Camden. She provides timely offense, but a bread and butter of hers is defense – as is the case for anyone wearing an Eagles uniform. The rising sophomore wing is also a gifted rebounder. She is a multi-sport athlete who has played volleyball in addition to her basketball accomplishments and averaged 7.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game last season.

This past season saw the continuation of Military Magnet’s impressive dynasty. The Eagles won its fifth championship in six years and its first at Colonial Life Arena after a dominant performance against Great Falls. Brown-King is one of the many young names that are playing like seasoned veterans under coach Nathaniel Taylor’s system. She competed in 28 of Military Magnet’s 30 games in 2025-26 and averaged 7.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. In the state game against the Red Devils, Brown-King tallied 11 points and brought down seven rebounds. A two-sport athlete who also plays volleyball, Brown-King was one of four freshmen for the 2025-26 Eagles.
