Brown’s athleticism jumps off the floor right away. She has that quick burst, long frame, and aggressive mindset that allows her to make plays in traffic and turn defense into offense. She attacked the rim with purpose, finished through contact, and showed the body control to make tough looks around the basket. When she got downhill, she put pressure on the defense and made things happen.

Defensively, she was a problem. Brown used her length and activity to pressure the ball, jump passing lanes, and create chaos. She played with toughness, stayed active, and brought that “on-ball” energy that can change the flow of a game. She also competed on the glass and showed she is not afraid to mix it up.

At NSU Team Camp, Kaliyah Brown Kaliyah Brown 5'7" | SF Sub Lab | 2028 State LA looked like a true stock riser. She played with edge, athleticism, and confidence, and her two-way impact made her one of the players who stood out. Brown has the tools, the motor, and the upside to keep climbing in Louisiana’s 2028 class. The buzz is building, and her game is speaking loud.

I caught Brown a couple of seasons ago on the PGH Circuit see evaluation here, and as usual, I was on the money. She, too, is a “long and athletic” guard, yet her UPS created some problems on both ends. Her body control on her finishes after contact, provided acrobatic finishes. Her pull-up jumper with a hand in her face was nice, yet seeing her go AFTA everything off the rim and play tough “on the ball” defense was nice

Brown showed good court vision and plays taller than her listed height as she goes after everything off the rim. Her athleticism had something to do with that, and so did her DESIRE which you can’t teach yet she also showed me the fadeaway jumper and scored off the dribble
