Dixon is an explosive guard who understands the mental aspect of breaking down defenders, allowing her to attack the basket effectively. She’s strong, so contact is irrelevant, but she can hit the jumper, so you can’t give her much room. Her full and half-court passes “on the money” looked good, but her setting teammates up with ease was nice

#70 up from #75 Dixon gave me a glimpse of what was coming at the Kickoff Classic last season and she scored several extra points immediatley yet her explosiveness off the dribble to score or dish has shot up. Her court vision across the board has gotten better, she handles the ball under pressure and speaking of pressure, she applies “on the ball” heat in the set as well as baseline to baseline see evaluations here

Dixon is another”athletic” guard who brings heat on both ends of the court. Her “on the ball” pressure off the top is a huge plus, as it helps to create turnovers, yet her first step is a problem because she can leave the defender cemented to the court as she blows by them to score or dish, solid body control on her finishes

Dixon was one of many freshmen I had a chance to see for the first time at the Kickoff Classic see evalaution here but her upside is what I’m digging because she’s an athletic guard who applies heat on both ends and her defense at times was smothering, which led to turnovers

Dixon along with Nelson gives Hastings one of the top young backcourt in the area and their games mirror each other so they can both run the 1 or 2 yet she also showed good court vision, in the set as well as in transition and did a good job creating her shot from outside, nice upside.
