Expert Analysis

Each time I was able to see Kamri in July, she had stretches where she was the most productive player on a very good Havoc team. She is strong, tough-nosed, hard-working, and she seems to love competition. I’ve said it before, but it’s difficult to saddle her with a position. She is just an all-around ballplayer. She can handle the ball, initiate the offense, and find open teammates. She is shooting it better outside, but she’s also a nice driver/finisher. Defensively, she plays with great effort on or off the ball, and she is a very good rebounder.

I said this the other day, but Kamri is one of the best all-around basketball players in Indiana’s 2026 class. She is strong, physical, and quietly tough-nosed on the perimeter. She takes contact well, she can finish inside, plus she’s an aggressive defender and also rebounds her position. She can handle it some and initiate the offense, she can create for teammates, and she is shooting it much better outside. Plus, she has proven to be a versatile defender.

Taking away projections, top “prospects”, etc., and Kamri is one of the best basketball players in Indiana’s 2026 class. She is strong, physical on the wing, but also skilled. She can handle it, she sees the floor well, and she’s capable of knocking down a rhythm 3-pointer. I also like her willingness to defend and rebound with energy. She may not be a 10 out of 10 at anything, but she’s no less than a 7 out of 10 at anything either…just a complete player.

Game in and game out, Kamri is the most impactful player for the Lady Bombers. She is strong, physical, and willing to mix it up inside, but she also has a guard’s skillset and can initiate the offense, create off the dribble a little, or get downhill and score it around the basket. She’s a highly effective rebounder, she can defend everything from bigger guards to undersized power forwards, and she plays with a quiet toughness to her. There isn’t one area she excels, but she is solid in most areas, and she can fit into most systems seamlessly.
