Karmine Carmichael Karmine Carmichael 6'0" | C Cocke Co. | 2027 State TN is definitely a player that people should keep their radar on. She had an impressive junior season, and her play was ultra-impressive at the state tournament.

Carmichael had a combined 11 blocks and steals in Murfreesboro. She was a big perimeter threat in her team’s first-round game against Liberty Creek. In the contest, she logged a game-high six steals. And in the second round game against White County, she was more of an interior defending threat. In that contest, she ended up logging a game-high three blocks.

Carmichael, although listed as a center, can play multiple positions on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Her Swiss Army Knife playstyle goes heavily into her being one of the better defenders in the class of 2027.

In 2 games, she had 34 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists, 7 steals, and 4 blocks. With great size, she can do work inside and out. Given an open look, she will knock it down consistently. She is a heady ballplayer who competes like no other. Looking at her stat line, just think what it could have been with an extra game. She leaves it all out there on the court, and you better believe college coaches will be showing some major interest real soon. Size, ability, and the makeup of a versatile kid, make her a solid addition for a program at the next level.

 Versatile and athletic big who can handle the ball. She can play multiple positions, 3-5; however, her ability to stretch the floor even beyond the arc is really something special. She creates mismatches all over the floor, making it tough for people to defend. She can face up and score, either driving to the hole or unleashing a deadly jumper. She can also play with her back to the basket, going up strong through the opposition. Her ability to contribute on the defensive end makes her a solid two-way player who plays with a ton of energy and athleticism. Keep your eyes on this young lady because her stock is about to take off.

Athletic forward who uses her size and speed to her advantage. This kid had a showing this past weekend, going toe-to-toe with some pretty good talent. Not only did she hold her own, but she turned around and gave them the business as well. She was solid on the defensive end, grabbing boards, blocking shots. She found her stroke from the field, putting the ball in the hole more often times than not. She competed her tail off and displayed a lot of grit when going up against opponents. This kid is solid and impacts the game in more ways than one. Keep an eye on her as she continues to get better and stack big-time performances, such as she did this past weekend.

Karmine continues to do it all on the basketball court. She is extremely blessed with length and skill. She led her team in scoring with 18 points. She scored in numerous ways. She does a great job of getting the ball in the high post. She knows exactly when to kick it to her open teammate or take it to the rim to score. I love Carmichael’s overall game! She’s elite! Karmine is one of the athletes in our state with tremendous upside. Carmichael has the size and the length. Most importantly, she has the heart! Karmine helped her team get a win over David Crockett. She finished with 20 points and 16 rebounds. Remember, “you just can’t beat the person who never gives up.” Karmine is never going to give up and she is going to do anything in her power to get her team in a position to win. This athlete needs to be on every coach’s radar.

Versatile big who is dominant on the inside. She plays with a motor and can carve you up with her back to the basket or face up and get past you. She is a 3 sport athlete who uses her athleticism to her advantage. Offensively she can score it on the initial attempts, but can also create additional attempts with put backs, finishing against contact. Defensively, she gains rebounds and blocks shots. What more can you ask for in a big who can change the course of the game. Solid kid who brings her lunch pail to work each and every time. Keep your eyes on this girl as she continues to take off and dominate the competition.
