Her persistent pressure on defense makes teams uncomfortable during transition and half-court settings, making her steals seem effortless. The 17U Michigan Mystics were able to bring in two tough wins due to gritty guard play they offered at The Finale.

Katarina is a compact guard, and competitive power-lifter, who I really enjoyed watching during summer league last year. She pressures opposing ball-handlers to create steals, finishes layups with either hand and has an accurate pull-up jumper from the mid-range or 3-point distance. Katarina picked up an offer from Defiance recently and I’m looking forward to seeing her again this spring.
