This young lady’s game has grown over the years, and no matter what’s at stake, she always seems to be in position to deliver. She dropped 15 last night in the contest. Look for her to bring it on Friday against a talented Hutchison team.

A tireless worker who can shoot the ball from multiple spots on the floor. Her game has grown over the years, and you can just tell she is playing with such confidence. I love her ability to come off screens, read/ get a feel for the situation, then exploit what is giving. She can dial it up from 3, curl into a jumper, or use her momentum to deliver a timely pass either to the low block player or the open perimeter player on the other side. She competes on the defensive end and contributes on the boards. She brings energy and effort to the Lady Irish program and is just sold all around. A great kid who competes from tip to the final whistle.

Heady ball player who plays hard on both ends of the floor. She leaves everything she has in every contest, Kate gets after it. A multi-level scoring threat who can shoot it from the arc, but won’t hesitate to put it on the floor to go get a bucket. She plays sound defense, rebounds, and contributes by making timely assists. A selfless player who seems to attract the ball. When the ball is in her hands, good things tend to happen.

Fielding also earned All Tournament honors for Father Ryan. Fielding is a smooth shooting ’26 that is really developing into a player. She’s gaining confidence as not just a shooter, but also someone that can make plays off the bounce. She fits really well into her role on this FR team.

Kate Fielding Kate Fielding 5'8" | SG Father Ryan | 2026 State TN had to play a lot of minutes especially towards the middle and end of the season as a freshman last year and stepped up to the challenge. She immediately impacted games on the offensive end with her passing and shooting ability. As the season went on and she became more confident she really helped the team alleviate defensive pressure with her ball handling. Kate is looking to build off a strong freshman season for the Lady Irish.
