Kate came into the game and made her presence known. Braintree’s leading scorer did a number of things. She crashed the boards for a putback, put pressure on the defense by driving to the hoop, and hit a pull-up where she either got fouled or kicked it out to find an open teammate. On defense, she showed good instincts, with stops that included steals and a blocked shot.
