Bainbridge has a motor that didn’t quit against a super fast and talented Mother McCauley team. She was always on one gear-hustle! Not only was she a help on the offensive end contributing to the score, she showed her determination by pulling down a bunch of rebounds. Her work on the boards stood out.

Saint Charles East talent is heavy with their underclassmen, and Kathlyn is towards the front of that. This year she’ll be utilized in a lot of roles, I’m expecting, but her scoring will be needed out of her immediately. She’s already shown last year that she could be a key facilitator for this team, and I’m sure that part of her game has increased this summer. Big year ahead for her.

An underrated guard with a ton of skill with the ball in her hand. On the drive, she is someone that you don’t want to be in front of unless you can guard the shiftiness. A lot of her talent lies on the offensive side, but she’s more than a scorer; she can fill the playmaker role and make things happen with the same amount of impact.

Bainbridge does most of her damage below the arc with her ability to facilitate and get to the rim, but when she starts hitting from the outside, it can be a long night for her matchup. Her release is quick, her feet are set, and there’s zero hesitation when she lets it fly.

Bainbridge has been a bright spot for her team, and though she can light it up beyond the arc, I think her ability to cause disruption on the defensive end will be her calling card to coaches. She is consistently in the right spot at the right time, and knows how to capitalize on those turnovers. Strong summer ahead.
