Katie is a player with a good chance to make some noise this summer. She is only a 2026 so she should be able to continue to add to her arsenal and improve this summer. She is a good perimeter shooter from mid range. I really like the way she can shoot off the dribble well and is a good lockdown defender who moves her feet well and is active. (featured photo above)

Katie Mastin Katie Mastin 5'4" | PG West Jessamine | 2026 State KY has been a key contributor for  West Jessamine this season scoring almost 13 PPG. Mastin loves to compete and has a motor that never stops, she is also very skilled and has a great feel for the game. I notice a vast improvement in her game this year, especially her perimeter shooting. She has shown that she can knock down the three ball and stop and pop on a dime from the mid range. Mastin had a game this season against Bryan Station, where she went off for a team-high 23 points and nailed 5 three-pointers.

Our single biggest mover in this particular update, Katie rises from 65th overall to 38th in the class. Coming off s season where she averaged 7 points and 2 boards per game, Mastin can create offense for herself but is a natural facilitator and knows how set up her teammates. When she does create offense for herself, Katie will look to improve her shooting efficiency to reach her prospect ceiling.

Mastin is a shifty guard. She can score in a variety of ways, including on drives, floaters, and jump shots. She did a great job finding the gaps and attacking those areas of the floor. Mastin made some good passes as well. She plays solid defense and she has the ability to get steals on the ball or in the passing lanes.
