It’s the Katie show for Team Oklahoma in the backcourt, with Parham joining up with fellow Katie, Eischen. The duo are good fit as they’re both unselfish and quick guards. The Okarche Katie has good handles, speed and vision to create looks for teammates in transition. Can hit from three via spot ups or off the dribble. Her ability to play on or off the ball should help her appeal to college coaches.

Parham has a never say die attitude and despite a tough first half, was able to keep it fairly competitive in the second half. Worked in the mid-range and pushed the tempo. The junior has been a riser over the last few years with a pair of Class A semifinals finishes And because it seemingly every viewing, she brings it and is productive. From scoring, to facilitating to making a winning play or two on the defensive end. One of the most consistent players in Oklahoma.

It wasn’t Parham’s best scoring day. Yet she still ended up with a game high 18 points thanks to crucial scoring in the second half. Along with free throws to salt away the contest. Even before her scoring production got going, she was productive with running the offense (4 assists) and impressively snagged 8 rebounds. Made one of the defensive plays of the game when she helped off and got a piece of a shot at the rim. Parham is simply a gamer who produces.

The party starter for Okarche. Was equally impressive with her passing and creation as her scoring. Heads up and on the money transition passing while pushing the tempo. Good job of swinging it cross court to open shooters in the halfcourt. Along with the creation, she was a handful off the dribble as scoring. Blew by defenders to get to the rim and shooting it well off of pull ups. Was the best athlete on the court, displaying good speed and quickness. Which allowed her to make plays on both ends of the floor. From a chase down block in transition to carving up the defense on a drive to end a quarter. Very impressive all around showing from the junior guard.

Last season as a sharpshooting sophomore, Parham broke out during Okarche’s playoff run. Leading them to a Class A semifinals appearance. It’s more of the same this year, as the junior guard has led them to a 15-3 mark and are ranked 5th in Class A. They recently avenged one of those three losses, with a 44-34 win over Class 3A Hennessey. Parham went for 24 points in that win. They’ve won 5 straight, but they will put to the test with a tough upcoming stretch. Starting tonight with a State Tournament caliber game at Amber-Pocasset. And they then host top 10 Class B1 Calumet on Tuesday.

A guard that had an outstanding state tournament last school season and has continued that myometrium this summer. I got the opportunity to watch Katie several games this summer at Super 64 in Texas. I liked the aggressive play she has with ball in hand. A scorers mindset that will hit you with 3 or attack the paint off the dribble.
What I liked when watching Katie play is she competes on both ends of the floor. The junior guard is a rebounding machine as well. A player to watch this up coming season.

The combo guard put in a very solid performance this weekend. An outside 3 point shooter on the catch or off the dribble making her someone you needed to quickly locate on defense. The combo guard attacked the weak closeouts with a aggressive downhill drive finishing with either hand at the rim.
On defense Katie is an excellent rebounder for a guard. Great positioning before the ball comes off the rim and climbs the latter to secure the board. The ball handling skills she has allows her to immediately push the tempo needing no outlet. A 2027 guard that recorded several double doubles last season as her team reached state.

Really put herself on the map with a simply stellar State Tournament. Looked at ease on her home floor, creating shots for herself and others. Great shot off the dribble. Class split should be beneficial for Parham and the Lady Warriors as they try to make it back to the State Tournament.

Parham is a straight up bucket getter, who made waves during the Class A playoffs. Then she kept it up this spring. Plays with an edge. Gets paint touches, to score herself or set up teammates for good looks. Pushes the tempo in transition as well. Strong perimeter shooter, who can heat up in a hurry. Impressive small town guard, who appears to have skillset and mentality to be a college player.

A very up-tempo guard on both ends of the floor. On offense she is pushing that baseline but showed the IQ of knowing to back it out and not force it. When watching her play you can tell that she has that calmness as if she has played in the big game moments.
So doing some research of the playoffs last season and Katie pulled off a double double with 20 points and 11 rebounds
