About Kaycee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a combo guard who focuses on leading the team and making the right plays. I take pride in my defense and effort, averaging 4.8 steals per game, and staying active on the glass with 5.9 rebounds per game. Offensively, I look to create for myself and my teammates, averaging 11.8 points and 3.2 assists per game, while playing within the flow of the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe myself as hardworking, coachable, and competitive in a positive way. I stay composed under pressure and try to lead by example through my effort and attitude. I’m always open to feedback and focused on getting better every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in school and volunteer for community activities and take pride in maintaining strong academics. I belong to the Spanish Club, I have been on the honor roll each semester through middle and my first year of high school. I understand the importance of being well-rounded both on and off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing combo guard has helped me develop leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. I understand how to control the pace of the game, keep my teammates involved, and stay accountable. I’ve also learned the importance of teamwork and putting the team’s success first.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout this season, I’ve faced challenges that pushed me to grow mentally and physically. Those moments helped me become more resilient, stay focused, and continue working to improve every part of my game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a program that values development, strong team culture, and hard work, where I can contribute and continue to grow as a player and person.
