Kayla Dunlap Kayla Dunlap SF Natick | 2028 State New E (2028) | SF | Natick
Kayla has been outstanding this season. She’s stepped up bigtime all together. Her total growth as a scorer, playmaker and defender must be mentioned. Dunlap is doing it all for Natick as a sophomore; she’s been a consistently stuffing the stat-sheet, outperforming her original expectations. Not only is the production up across the board, but what’s been most surprising is the surge in high scoring outputs. It’s not just a small uptick either. Dunlap has exploded this season, showing versatility as a #1 option. The defense should be touched on too. She’s always had great tools on this side of the ball, but Kalya has also leveled up as a true deterrence, especially from the wing to the painted area. The Natick star is definitely one to watch coming into the new year.

Kayla had a huge performance against Framingham, scoring 19 of her team’s 28 points in the first quarter alone by creating offense off steals and offensive rebounds for easy looks. She finished the night with 31 points, six rebounds, and five steals in a decisive Natick win. Dunlap is a key piece of her team’s aggressive press, setting the tone from the top of the zone and consistently disrupting opponents before they can get into their offense.

Kayla attacks the basket with strength and confidence, playing through contact and using her long reach to finish over defenders. Within her team’s offense she makes smart decisions, setting effective on-ball screens that lead to open shots for teammates or slipping into space for her own scoring chances. Defensively, she provides reliable help in the paint, deterring attempts at the rim and making it difficult for opponents to get downhill.
