Kayla had a very solid game for Michigan Cobras 17U at the PGH MI College Tour II. She worked hard inside to corral rebounds on both ends and dribbled the ball comfortably up the floor with her left. Kayla patiently changed speeds, surveyed the scene, and lulled the defense to sleep with her wide dribbles. Once driving lanes opened up, she accelerated towards the basket and caused fouls. Kayla knocked down free throws with confidence and made a nice transfer for a catch and finish in transition. She’s an athletic and determined two-way player.

Kayla, a forward for the Cobras, made a difference at MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She used a quick first step to get past defenders and create scoring opportunities off the bounce. Kayla showed her ability to finish in space with a smooth stretch layup, highlighting her touch and control around the rim. Her ability to attack and convert made her a factor on the offensive end throughout the day.

Kayla is an athletic wing who has the potential to be a solid next-level prospect. She battled for offensive rebounds and scored a left-hand layup with a quick transfer off the catch. Kayla showed her outside range when she swished a straightaway triple and changed directions using a speedy crossover to score a layup with a burst.

Kayla had a productive season for Onsted, averaging eight points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. Kayla made 29 triples and scored a season-high 18 points vs. Hillsdale. She is very strong, physical, and athletic. Kayla attacks downhill with toughness off the dribble to score layups and cause fouls. She’s a threat to hit shots from the perimeter and will chase down breakaway layups from behind.
