5-foot-7 shooting guard Kaylee Bjorkgren Kaylee Bjorkgren SG Lakeridge | 2029 OR is a freshman with a high game IQ and a pure stroke. Bjorkgren consistently works hard and knows where to be on both sides of the ball. You can’t leave her open on the perimeter; she will knock down the in-rhythm catch-and-shoot jumper. She moves under control on the bounce, doesn’t force it, and can kick out for the assist. The ball doesn’t stick in her hands, she keeps the rock moving and consistently makes the right read to take or pass. Bjorkgren is a disciplined defender on and off the ball. She fights over screens, keeps her arms straight up to contest the driver, helps, and boxes out. The freshman ran with Northwest Select over the summer and will be a nice addition to Lakeridge in the winter.
