Kaylor Johnson is another 5’11 SF, that showed up each time she competed last Winter as a Sophomore for Ballard High School. Johnson was a starter all season long and she was the player who did all of their work in the middle. She was their top rebounding threat by a mile and she mainly did her work in-between the blocks offensively. She did demonstrate the willingness to extend the floor by taking 31 three point attempts on the year but that wasn’t her go-to or something that they could rely on when it mattered. She went to the free throw line 4-6 times a contest and that helped set the tone when things would get too sped up for their liking but she was definitely at her best moving into spaces off of other players creation off the dribble. If Ballard wants to compete for a conference title this Winter Johnson is going to have to lead the charge. She checks off some boxes that college evaluators have already but she will need to keep progressing if they want to make a deep Playoff run over these next couple of seasons as a group.

Do not sleep on Kaylor Johnson Kaylor Johnson 5'11" | PF/C/C IA and what she might be able to put together over these next couple of years at the varsity level. Johnson, a 5’11 Forward prospect out of the 2028 Class, is a lot of handle with her mixture of size, smarts, and a high motor. Not only did Johnson record 6 points on the offensive end, she also registered 14 rebounds and 3 blocks to go along with that. Just from the numbers alone you can tell that Johnson is doing something right. When you consider that she is only a freshman at this time, it’s promising to think where she might be able to take things before her high school career comes to a close.

I think that Ballard High School might have the next major piece to their puzzle for the next few seasons in 2028 PF – Kaylor Johnson Kaylor Johnson 5'11" | PF/C/C IA . Johnson has only played a limited amount of Varsity contests thus far but she is currently averaging 4.5 PPG and 9.5 RPG. It might only be a small sample size but it wouldn’t surprise me if Johnson finishes as their top producer in both categories by the time this season comes to a close. She is going to be someone that gets a lot of opportunities on both sides of the floor near the hoop, every game this Winter so I’m sure her numbers will reflect that.
