Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style is very calm and collected. I stay focused and don’t allow others to speed up my game. I take whatever the defense gives me. I don’t get frantic with the ball. I constantly cut and move. I am able to play outside the three point line and inside the paint very well.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a competitor. I hate to lose and will do whatever it takes to win. I stay positive even in tough moments. I lift up others. I am always willing to learn and grow.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in student council. I have received the community service award at my school. I am also apart of CIA (Christian’s In Action). I also participate in UIL events.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed leadership skills on and off the court. I am able to communicate effectively while being polite. I am able to work with anyone. I am always listening and believe teamwork is better than individualism. I have gotten many community service awards by helping my anyone and everyone. I help in all aspects with little league basketball and softball.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have faced the challenge of shoulder surgery. For four years I suffered from shoulder dislocations in my left arm. I played through it but eventually the doctor said I was old enough to receive surgery. After surgery, it was really difficult seeing my teammates get to play without me. This lead me to do my physical therapy twice a day and get released four months early.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that feels like home. I want a family atmosphere. I want to have a fun, caring environment. I also want it to feel welcoming and supportive. I want the staff to show that they care and be able to have a connection with not only them but also the professors.
