No matter the division, every program needs a player who can flat out score the ball.. Whether it’s the flow of the system, or off their own creation. Kazaria has that to her game. She can score in bunches, and when you tie the athleticism in with it.. you’re getting a player who could bring some impact to a program in year one.

The natural feel Kazaria shows on the offensive side of the ball is why she continues to be a standout player in her class, and her deep skill set was on display this past weekend as well. She truly can get it going on that side of the ball, and when she does, she’s hard to stop.

Smith is more than a shooter; she’s a legit all around scorer, but depending on the program that she ends up with, I believe she can be an off the ball threat as well. When you have the downhill game like she does, it opens up a lot of shot opportunities, and if she takes advantage, it could be a long game for her match up.

Smith is one of those players who plays twice her size, and does not doubt what she can do on the offensive end. She is a player who shouldn’t be left open, but she’s also a player that you don’t want to be on an island with. She can score the ball at a high and consistent clip, and has no sense of backing down in her game. The second half of AAU should put some more coaches on notice.

of AR Elite. Smith is a top-notch hooper, that will be a producer on a college floor before you know it. Smith plays with power, a quick first step, great knowledge of the game, and an insatiable hungry. When Smith has the ball, she is always looking to kill the opposition in front of her. She doesn’t care how she does it as long as it happens. I’m hoping to see more of that with weekend. Smith has been a consistent on the road this Spring AAU season and I know she is going to bring the fire once again.

has had an impressive 12 months leading us to this point. Smith, a 5’6 CG, has shown everyone watching this past season that she is a next level player with her production. She is a talented offensive weapon while attacking off the dribble and she doesn’t let one bad play or situation impact her entire demeanor. All of this was on display this past weekend for AR Elite’s 17U team. Offensively, Smith got to the bucket off the dribble, she finished with touch at the rim and in the mid-range, and she even stepped out and cashed in some jumpers from behind the three point line when the defense sagged off. Defensively, she recorded a bunch of tips/deflections and that led to opportunities in transition a good majority of the time. This AR team has some hoopers and Smith happens to be the most polished.

Smith has been the go-to scorer for her program, which means doubles and triples—and if she’s still finding ways to put up strong numbers, that’s a good sign. This summer will be a test. As the competition gets stronger, will the output stay the same or similar? Ignoring the size, Smith is a kid that coaches should take some time to watch.

Not too many players, let alone guards, have been putting on a scoring clinic like Kazaraiza. Though the competition she’s facing isn’t always the toughest, I have no doubt she can replicate these performances once AAU season starts, and she’ll be matched up against better competition. High ceiling for the reigning PGH Player of the Week.

Prior to this high school season, I had the chance to go on the road and cover AAU during the Spring/Summertimes per usual. While doing so, last Spring I had a chance to sit and watch

of AR Elite a couple of times. Each time, Smith showed the heart, determination, and a skill-set to be a high level prospect at the next level. Since then, Smith has put the state of Illinois on notice with how well she has been performing. In this past three months, she has also put together one of the most impressive performances that the Country has ever seen. In her team’s holiday tournament, Smith recorded a game with 58 Points, 10 Rebounds, 10 Assists, and 10 Steals. Now take a moment, go back and read that again. She put up a 58 point quadruple-double, scoring 35 in the first half and never taking her foot of the gas. Other than just scoring, Smith demonstrates each night that she is a D1 basketball player. That’s why she is currently averaging 28.5 PPG, putting her as a Top 25 scorer throughout the United States at this point.
