Was really impressed with Tupua’s ability to break down defenders with the dribble. She’s very shifty in tight spaces and also has some physicality to her game which allows her to attack tight angles and be a force getting to the hoop. She made defenders plan for a lot of possibilities on the perimeter with a plethora of ball fakes and her quick footwork. Hard worker on both ends with an expansive offensive game who was able to create her own looks for NW Blazers S40.

Keira is a high level guard who really knows how to facilitate the offense and be an elite guard. She plays fantastic defense, moving her feet quickly and displaying her speed while defending at a high level. She handles the ball smoothly and can change her pace quickly and force the opposing team to play at her speed.

Plays with a lot of fire on both ends of the floor. She has great quickness and plays aggressively on defense, forcing turnovers. She is great when she gets the ball in space and can be tough to keep in front when she attacks the basket. That said, she has a nice looking shot from three and looks like she has the potential to be a high volume shooter but with accuracy. Her shot is compact and she has no trouble with the distance. A player with a lot of talent who could have a breakout season next year. She was good last, but has the tools to be a big time player.

She should play an even bigger part for Lake Stevens with the departure of Nisa Ellis, but she’s got the skills to be a reliable scorer and playmaker.
