About Keirra

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My quickness and defensive play drives my offense. I am not afraid of contact and make many drives to the basket getting to the free throw line. I also have a great three point shot around the arc.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very dedicated, hardworking athlete. The mental game has improved through facing adversity and remaining positive in hard times on the court. Being a leader on the court with communication is an important element of my personality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play for the Vermont Huskies - an expansion team from the Mass Huskies.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a huge part of the leadership and teamwork on both of my teams. I care about always making my teammates look good on the court as well as keeping their heads up during hard games. Positive self talk leads to positive team talk. I have helped run camps for youth at my high school grades 3/4 and 5-8.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I transferred from a D4 to a D1 high school my sophomore year. My first season at my D1 high school was sometimes a struggle mentally and gaining confidence back was a huge priority. Now that I’m settled in- I can’t wait for the 2026/2027 season.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to compose music. I love to sing, play the electric guitar and write music and songs so a college that will allow me the freedom of composing is what I am looking for. I also would like to play college basketball.
