Kelechi impressed me at the PGH Sophomore ID Camp, and watching her “on the court” progression and showing she can play multiple positions has been nice, yet even nicer is that she plays taller than she is and falls into that “never takes a play off” group see evaluation here

Onuegbu showed up at the PGH Sophomore ID Showcase and left me somewhat speechless at times, see evaluation here. I love #THROWBACK players; she doesn’t stand at “the magic number” but she plays as if she’s above it, and when you factor in she can jump, aka has UPS, and goes AFTA the ball off the rim on both ends, well you can’t teach DESIRE. She finishes strongly after contact, and her defense, including playing the passing lane, was solid

Onuegbu gave me a powerful first look, and seeing her understanding how to utilize her strength on both ends grabbed me immediately. She attacked the basket strongly and finished after contact with ease, nice body control played a part in that, but she also gave me the spin in traffic to score around the basket. She used her UPS to not only rebound on both ends but also block shots. Her timing was also good at reading the floor as she played the passing lane well
