Rasheen Johnson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A player that picked up multiple interests and now is committed to at Regent and has proven that she is a solid player in this 2027 class! Good three point shooter, when she gets her feet set she is money! Has good size and can take advantage of slower defenders going to the basket. Plays the passing lane well for steals and is a good on ball defender!

Swords is a fundamentally sound perimeter shooter who creates space, stays shot-ready, and wastes no time getting her shot off when the ball finds her. She moves well without the ball, relocating to open areas along the perimeter and knocking down catch-and-shoot opportunities while maintaining textbook shooting mechanics and a confident follow-through. Beyond her scoring ability, she also contributes as a facilitator, handling dribble handoffs and making the extra pass to keep the offense flowing.

The recent Regent commit enters the upcoming season with added pressure. Returning to a Warwick team that lost its top two leading scorers to graduation. However, if Swords’ performance this weekend is any indication, she looks ready to carry the load as the number one option.
A reliable shooter with the ability to stretch the defense. Swords can get her shot off under pressure and knock it down with accuracy. As a steady off guard, she showed the ability to feed the post, and settle the offense. Giving her the ability to make the right play when needed. Her ball handling is still developing. However, once that part of her game sharpens, Swords has the tools to lead Warwick as its primary option next season.

Kelsie is a very good three-point shooter with a quick release that allows her to get shots off before defenders can properly close out. She spots up well in transition and consistently knocks down threes, even with defenders contesting. Her footwork on her shot is especially polished and helps her stay balanced and efficient from deep.
