Thomas is a shifty guard with all of the next level tools to succeed. Her downhill game is elite and stopping her is nearly impossible when she is in that mode. Heading into district she could be the catalyst for some playoff heart break.

Averaging an impressive 5.7 assists per game, Kendal is a true floor reader. She sees the court exceptionally well, always aware of where her teammates are and how the defense is shifting. Kendal’s ability to process the game in real time allows her to make pinpoint passes that keep the offense flowing. Her basketball IQ and unselfishness make her one of the premier playmakers in 5A.

With 5.0 steals per game, Kendal plays defense like a step ahead of everyone else. There isn’t a move she hasn’t seen, and she reads ball handlers with ease. That experience allows her to beat opponents to their spots and steal the ball cleanly. Kendal’s steals look easy because of how well she understands the game.

During the Salmen game vs Edna Karr on November 19th Sophomore Kendal Thomas lead all scorers with 33 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, 1 block and 3 rebounds. It was bitter sweet as Salmen lost 53-83.
The night before Kendal posted 14 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assist, 1 block in 48-46 OT victory versus Picayune.
