Kendall, a post player for Kalamazoo Basketball Academy, made her presence felt during the MI College Tour III stop at Grand Valley on Saturday with her work on the interior. She was active on the glass at both ends, consistently securing rebounds and giving her team extra possessions. Defensively, she protected the rim and anchored the paint. Offensively, she did a great job establishing position, sealing her defender effectively to create scoring opportunities inside.

Hough might be a little undersized compared to the rest of the top post/forward prospects at The Freshman Showcase, but that didn’t stop her from standing out and earning the honor of being a top forward. Kendall boxed out strong and pulled down rebounds at a high rate. She was a rim protector with some blocks on the day. I’m looking forward to watching her game grow over the next four years.

Hough had a great day at The Freshman Showcase. She was effective at the rim on the defensive end, getting some blocks on the day. She is a player who always seems to be in the right spot on defense and also had some steals. She worked hard on the glass, came away with numerous offensive boards, and got a few put-backs.
